for Bureaucratic Enrollment Procedures
CLIDA can assist Study Abroad Programs in handling
student registration procedures with local authorities for the staying
permits in Italy, and can take care of all documentation preparation
necessary for student study visas.
We know that this can be a troublesome chore for overseas study
departments thus CLIDA can assist in smoothing out these procedures,
by delegating one of our office staff to register all students with
the Italian police authorities for staying permits, so that the
students do not have to stand in long queues and have difficulty
because of language limitations.
In advance, CLIDA will advise which documents are necessary that
the students bring with them. In addition, if a special study visa
from the Italian Embassy is requested, CLIDA can assist the program
by mailing certifications necessary for the release of Italian study
visas.
Meals
Special vouchers can be organized for all students who wish to have
lunches or dinners in typical local restaurants. The prices are
advantageous and the food quality is outstanding.
The facilities also have beverage and food vending machines, although
the central location of the schools, permits all students to have
complete access to coffee shops, trattorias and take away food stores.
Medical assistance
CLIDA can provide the program with excellent English speaking doctors,
dentists, psychologists, and other medical specialists.
Students sometimes may need the assistance of a doctor, and it is
important that a program can supply names of reliable doctors that
will assist the student and advise the program in the case
